Hi Beauties:
Disclaimer: This post talks about my personal experience with a beauty procedure. I am not an expert, nor do I recommend, discard or generalize any beauty procedure. I do not intend to influence your decision and if you want to do this procedure is at your discretion. I only talk about my experience.
And before answering the question so that you have a better perspective, I am a type 2 diabetic many years now. I use pills to control my blood glucose, but I haven't used Insulin for more than a year.
I'm always very careful and investigate all beauty processes. This includes skin care,products, vitamins... You can already imagine. With that said,I have always wanted to do Microblading. Since my eyebrows are naturally a disaster.
But first What is Microblading?
Microblading is a tattoo technique where a small hand tool made of several small needles or one,is used to add semi-permanent pigment to the skin.
The benefit of this procedure is more definition in the
eyebrow area and less maintenance. Personally it can resolve me since my eyebrows don't grow much. And thanks to Tracy Soto from
TS Balding and More,I was able to kill my curiosity about this beauty procedure.
The procedure consists of:
* Cleaning the eyebrow area
* Placing anesthetic cream
* Cleaning the eyebrow area again
* Take measurements and design according to the face
* Shading and Microblading
It should be clarified that Tracy had to use this technique specifically for my diabetic condition since my skin rejected the pigment a bit. And as for the pain, I am quite tolerant so I can say that I only felt a burning sensation but in addition to that nothing serious.
So answering the question,
Can a diabetic do Microblading?
YES,but only if diabetes is under control. If your diabetes is uncontrolled,if you have blood circulation problems or your skin doesn't heal well and you are prone to ulcers you should NOT have this procedure. Since this can bring you complications and skin infections.
And you should always follow the instructions of the Microblading Technician which are to wash the area with soap and water and use the cream indicated with the recommended amount and not exceed in use.
Remember,I'm speaking only from my perspective as type 2 diabetic. Every person and circumstance are different.

Hola Bellezas:
*Sombreado y Microblading

Wow this is great to know. I'm not diabetic, but I wasn't aware that those with diabetes couldn't get certain procedures done.
ResponderEliminarThose results are amazing! I've always wanted to try this
ResponderEliminarThis was such an informative read! It makes sense to me that you can only do this if you take care of your diabetes properly. People with uncontrolled diabetes have a terrible time healing, so even one nick could turn into a real problem.
