And here I am super happy, super joyful because today began my favorite month of the year, one because it is my birthday month and the month that's summer's eve ,May. And today on the radio we were talking about the trend of pastel colors for this spring season. And I really like this trend of pastel colors but I know that many of you people are a little intimidated because you don't want to look like children or as you were a piece of candy so here I give you some tips that can help you with this trend.
How to use pastels:
Use complementary colors they may be within the pastel hue or primary colors
like mint green and yellow
Combine it whit different shades of the same color to do a monochromatic look.
like peach, pastel orange and terracotta.
Use different textures with the
Pastel colors, this gives dimension to your outfit.
like denim, lace and leather
Complete the outfit contrasting pastel shades with neutral accessories.
like bags, belts, shoes in nude
Use Black to highlight the pastel colors this will give a touch of edginess to the outfit.
Use pastel jeans is the easiest way to have the trend
Do Color Blocking with pastel shades and prevent it from shock to much.
Example: Pastel Blue,Patel Yellow, Blush Pink
Use white as a complementary color for your pastel color. It make pastels stand out you can use it in accessories or whole garment.
Combine it with all kinds of print since it is not that common to see this shades combined with patterns and this will make it look less shocking.
Like leopard, reptile, striped and floral
Combine Basic Neutral pieces whit this shade
such as nude and different shades of gray.
like a pastel orange blouse with a gray skirt.
Use strong warm colors with pastels. Besides, you can use out pieces you don't use this season.
Like Marsala and pastel blue or
Pastel Aqua and burgundy
Combine pastels with neon, you can use neon as a basic piece or as accessories and use it with the tones go in a complementary manner.
Use metals hues as you can play a lot with the warm or cold metal shades.
Like yellow and silver
Blue and gold
Coral and bronze
Use pastel accessories with your clothes, is another easy way to use this trend.
Tye Dye: is a good way to bring various shades of these
Colors and you can even do it in your Home.
Use it with the typical blue jeans and this will bring a more casual tone this trend. But beware, if is the not the classic blue jeans and you use pale blue jeans or other acid washed jeans the color will not be highlighted, and you will look washed out.
And you can see that in my outfit I did some of my own advice as I combine some neon accessories combine with stripes,pastel pants and neutral colors.

Y aquí estoy súper contenta y súper feliz porque hoy comenzó mi mes preferido ya que es el mes que cumplo años y el mes que es vispera de verano y es mayo. Y hoy en la radio estábamos hablando de la tendencia de tonos pasteles para esta temporada de primavera y verno. Y a mi me gusta mucho esta tendencia de tonos pasteles pero se que a mucha gente los intimida un poco porque no quieren verse infantiles o como si fueran un pedaso de dulce así que aquí les daré unos consejos que los pueden ayudar a llevar esta tendencia.
Como usar tonos pasteles
Usa colores complementarios estos pueden estar dentro de los tonos pastel o colores primarios
Ej: verde menta y amarillo
Combina diferentes tonalidades del mismo color para hacer un look monocromático.
Ej:Color durazno,anaranjado pastel y terracota.
Usa diferentes Texturas con los
Colores pasteles,esto le da dimensión a tu atuendo.
Ej:mahón,encaje,cuero
Completa el atuendo contrastando los tonos pasteles con accesorios neutrales.
Ej:carteras,correas,o zapatos color crema nude
Usa el color Negro para Resaltar el color pastel esto le dará un toque de desafió al atuendo.
Usar Mahones de tonalidad pastel es la menera mas fácil de llevar la tendencia
- Has Bloques de color o "color bloking" con tonalidades pastel y así evitaras que choque mucho esta tonalidad.
Ej: Azul,Amarillo,rosa
- Usa Blanco ya que complementa mucho los tonos pasteles y hace que resalten asi sea en accesorios o pieza entera de ropa.
Combínalo con todo tipo de estampado ya que no es algo común ver esta tonalidad combinada con estampados y esto hará que luzca mas disimulado.
Ej: leopardo,reptil,rayas y floral
Combínalo con piezas en tonos
Neutrales básicos como lo son el crema y diferentes tonalidades de gris.
Ej:Blusa anaranjado pastel falda. Gris
Usa colores calidos fuertes con los pasteles. Además de contraste le sacas partido a piezas que no usas esta temporada.
Ej: Marsala y azul pastel
Acua pastel y color vino
Combínalos con neón: puedes usar el neón como pieza básica o como accesorios y usarlo con los tonos que vallan de manera complementaria.
Usa metálicos ya que puedes jugar mucho con las tonalidades calidas u frías del metal.
Ej:amarillo y plata
Azul y oro
Coral y bronce
Usa accesorios pastel con tu ropa es otra manera fácil de usar esta tonalidad.
Tye Dye: es una buena manera de llevar varias tonalidades de estos
Colores y hasta lo puedes hacer en
Tu casa
Úsalo con los típicos mahones azules y esto hará que lleves esta tonalidad de manera mas casual. Pero ojo es con el
Clásico azul no con otro azul
Pálido o rotos o lavados ácidos ya que el color no resaltara y te veras mas pálida.
Y con mi atuendo pueden ver que cumplí con varios de mis propios consejos ya que lo combine con accesorios neón, con estampado pantalones pastel y colores neutrales.
