Caley Cosmetics Event / Evento de Caley Cosmetics

Hello Beauties:

This week I had the opportunity to go to the Caley Cosmetics event organized by Jeanelly Concepción of The Fashion Lotus Blog.

Caley Cosmetics is a completely natural makeup line founded by a duo of mother and daughter Anni and Cindy Rodriguez who are second and third generation of women in their family involved in the beauty industry. You can go through caleycosmetics.com to see their history and the wide variety of cosmetics.

In the event we had the opportunity to see the process of how a lipgloss is made and we even had the opportunity to create our own color. I also shared with several Bloggers and Youtubers. It was all a success.

Esta semana tuve la oportunidad de ir al evento de Caley Cosmetics organizado por Jeanelly Concepción del Blog The Fashion Lotus.

Caley Cosmetics es una linea de maquillaje completamente natural fundada por un duo de madre e hija Anni y Cindy Rodriguez que son segunda y tercera generación de mujeres en su familia involucradas en la industria de la belleza. Puerto Rico Fashion In Symphonic / Puerto Rico Fashion In Sinfónico

Hello Beuties:

Yesterday I had the great opportunity to attend Puerto Rico Fashion In Symphonic. A fashion event that includes classical music and dance to stand out with fashion from my beloved Island Puerto Rico.

The event was held in the symphonic hall Pablo Casal of the Center of Fine Arts of Santurce and was sponsored by several companies such as Clairol, Mark Jacobs, Lincoln among others and was to benefit the Foundation A-mar for burned children, the Foundation Pro Ayuda de Puerto Rico and the Conservatory of Music of Puerto Rico.

And those present there had the great joy of seeing the collections of three great designers. From Venezuela Douglas Tapia, Mexico Benito Santos and Puerto Rico Luis Antonio. All this was covered by the local press and covered by some local bloggers. Among them was me, Edit Tapia, Cristal B. and others.

I want to let  you guys know that I liked all the collections. I can't pick a favorite, everything looked like artwork and the music and dance and atmosphere. Everything was perfect for this fashion show.

The runway began with the Parisian and glamorous touch of Douglas Tapia with pearls and pale pink tones, sequins and transparencies. Leter followed him Benito Santos with a few designs out of this world, a lot of Lame and wide skirts huge and beautiful. Sometimes with a glamorous boho touch. And it was culminated with the spectacular collection of our Luis Antonio inspired in ballet with romantic pieces and feminine silhouettes with a modern touch. And that is without talking about the shoes with their black ribbon like ballet slippers that I adore.

I have to admit that I didn't took a lot of photos,I was very involved in the moment and the few I took are not of much good quality because the camera on my cell phone does not help much. Even so, here I will leave several photos of the event and the end of the event, when everyone who was there could appreciate all  more closely. And I managed to took some pictures of myself with the designers, but I couldn't interview them.

Ayer tuve la gran oportunidad de asistir a Puerto Rico Fashion In Sinfónico. Un evento de moda que incluye la música clásica y la danza para que resalten junto con ella de mi amada tierra Puerto Rico.

El evento se realizo en la sala sinfónica Pablo Casal del Centro de Bellas artes de Santurce y contó con el auspicio de varias firmas como Clairol, Mark Jacobs,Lincoln entre otros y fue a beneficio de la Fundación A-mar para niños quemados,la Fundación Pro Ayuda de Puerto Rico y El Conservatorio de Música de Puerto Rico.

Y los allí presentes tuvimos la gran dicha de ver las colecciones de tres grandes diseñadores. De Venezuela Douglas Tapia, de México Benito Santos y de Puerto Rico Luis Antonio. Todo eso contó con cobertura de la prensa local y con la cobertura de algunas blogers locales. Entre ellas esta su servidora, Edit Tapia,Cristal B. Entre otros.

Quiero decirles que me gustaron todas las colecciones. No puedo escoger una preferida,todo parecía obras de arte y la musica y la danza y el ambiente. Todo era perfecto para este desfile de modas. 

La pasarela comenzó con el toque parisino y glamuroso de Douglas Tapia con sus perlas y tonos rosados paliados,lentejuelas y transparencias. Luego le siguió Benito Santos con unos diseños fuera de este mundo,mucho Lame y faldas anchas enormes y hermosas. Algunas veces con un toque boho glamuroso. Y culmino con la espectacular colección de nuestro Luis Antonio inspirada en ballet con piezas románticas y siluetas bien femeninas con un toque moderno sin hablar de los zapatos con su cinta negra amarados como zapatillas de ballet que adore.

Les tengo que admitir que no tome casi fotos,estaba muy envuelta en el momento y las pocas que tome no son de tan buena calidad porque la camera de mi celular no ayuda mucho. Aun así, aquí les dejare varias fotos del evento y del final del evento en donde todos los que estábamos allí pudimos apreciar todas las piesas mas de cerca. Y también logre retratarme con los diseñadores pero no pude entrevistarlos.

West Fashion Week Puerto Rico 2016

Hello Beuties:

Here I have my coverage of the first night of West Fashion Week. This event is a great fashion event by Annjannette ann.jo models. It had coverage of several  local media as Ego Moda and Metro newspaper. And was sponsored by Fiat, Avon among others.

Had several runway shows  with local fashion  designers and fashion students like the EDP Collage Showcase from San Sebastian PR. And all this was presented in one of the most prestigious hotels on the West area of ​​Puerto Rico Rincon of the Seas in the city of Rincon.

Unfortunately I could not be every night of the West Fashion Week but I went to the first with  Youtuber Eileen Soto from Geeky Ely channel  you  there and  see a vlog video she made of the event.

My camera was not the best but I managed to get enough of the fashion show. That night began with EDP Showcase with Carmen Peña, Sandra Rivera, Zairy Rosa, Zenaida Olavarria and Kelvin Giovannie.

Then it was followed by the jewelry designer Karl Pillicier and disigner Sandra Santiago with the Sisa collection. Later were collections of Eli Rosa which was one of my favorites of the night and Richard Quiñones. We couldn't stay until the end of the show but it was phenomenal.

I congratulate Annjannette for her big event and I hope I can repeat the chance to cover the event one again.

Hola  Bellezas:

Aquí les tengo mi cobertura de la primera noche de West Fashion Week. Este evento es un gran evento de desfile de modas realizado por Annjannette ann.jo models. Contó con la cobertura de varios medios de comunicación como  Ego Moda y el periódico Metro. Y auspiciado por Fiat,Avon entre otros.

Contaba con varios desfiles de  diseñadores locales y con el Showcase de estudiantes de moda de EDP Collage la regían de San Sebastian PR. Y todo esto fue presentado en uno de los Hoteles mas prestigiosos del área oeste de Puerto Rico Rincón of the Seas en el pueblo de Rincón.

Desafortunadamente no pude estar todas las noches del West Fashion Week pero fui a la primera con la Youtuber Eileen Soto del canal Geeky Ely allí podrán ver un vídeo vlog que ella hizo de la actividad.

Mi camera no era la mejor pero logre retratar bastante de los desfiles. Esa noche se comenzó con el Showcase de EDP Collage con Carmen Peña, Sandra Rivera, Zairy Rosa, Zenaida Olavarría y Kelvin Giovannie.

Luego siguió el desfile del diseñador de joyas Karl Pillicier y la diseñadora Sandra Santiago con su colección Sisa. Mas tarde fueron las colecciones de Rosa Eli la cual fue una de mis favoritas de la noche y Richard Quiñones. No nos pudimos quedar hasta el final de los desfiles pero se que estuvo fenomenal.
