Style Basics: Fashion Morphology Apple Shape / Básicos de Estilo: Morfología de la Moda Figura Manzana

Hi Beauties:

Today we culminate with my post series of the Body Morphology. And if you haven't seen the previous ones you can see the first HERE  the second HERE  the third HERE the fourth HERE and fifth HERE. We cover each figure individually and today we are going to talk about the last figure in this series. This doesn't mean that  is the least important since many women have this figure. Today we will talk about the Apple Figure.

Apple:
It is characterized by having similar shoulder and hip measurements but in turn the chest and waist measurements are also similar. Even so, the hips tend to be narrower than the chest.

Distinctions:
* The shoulders are wider than the hips.
* The torso is wide.
* The bust is also larger than the hips.
* The waist is not defined.
* Legs and arms are thinner and more defined.
* It's tend to gain weight in the upper body.

This figure tends to fall under a stereotype of a wide and unbalanced figure. Even having frequent association with obesity. When it is far from reality. A person having this figure may be Thin or Plus and not be extremely wide. It's just that the physical constitution is like that. Some celebrities with this body are Angelina Jolie, Jennifer Hudson, Penelope Cruz, among others.

Now,I will tell you what you can and can't wear if you have this type of figure.

You can wear:
* V or deep necklines
* Boot cut jeans, flared and with back pockets to define the hips.
* Dresses A-cut and Empire Cut
* Vertical Stripes and Asymmetric cuts
* Short pants and skirts that show the legs
* Structured Jackets
* High waist pants

You can't wear:
* Clothes too tight without shape or square
* High Neck or Turtle Neck
* Bodycon Dresses and Skirts
* Blouses with a lot of print and elaborate sleeves.
*Horizontal stripes
* Skinnie pants and Jeans

 In this last post of this series I don't talk about the plus or petite figures. Since these have different details, I'm just covering the figure in general.

Now, I will show you celebrities with this type of figure and also what they can use and cannot use with this type of figure. It's not my intention to embarrass or offend whoever has this figure. It's so you can look good with her. Know what to use or not.
The more you know what suits you and what doesn't, the better you can express yourself with your personal style.

Hola Bellezas:

Puedes Usar:
*Escotes V o profundos
*Jeans corte de bota, acampanados y con bolsillos traseros para definir las caderas.
* Vestidos corte A y Corte Imperio
*Rayas Verticales y cortes Asimétricos
*Pantalones y faldas cortas que muestren las piernas
*Chaquetas Estructuradas
*Pantalones Altos a la cintura

No Puedes Usar:
* Ropa demasiado ajustada sin forma o cuadrada
* Escotes Altos o Cuello Tortuga
*Vestidos y Faldas Bodycon

  1. So interesting! I have a different figure type and I couldn't pull off anything on the "you can wear" list. I've never known why. Now I know I have a body for other types of clothes.

  39. This is how my buddy Wesley Virgin's adventure starts with this SHOCKING AND CONTROVERSIAL video.

    You see, Wesley was in the army-and shortly after leaving-he revealed hidden, "SELF MIND CONTROL" secrets that the CIA and others used to get anything they want.

    As it turns out, these are the same tactics lots of celebrities (especially those who "come out of nowhere") and elite business people used to become wealthy and famous.

    You probably know that you only use 10% of your brain.

    That's mostly because most of your brainpower is UNCONSCIOUS.

    Perhaps that thought has even occurred IN YOUR own brain... as it did in my good friend Wesley Virgin's brain 7 years ago, while driving an unregistered, trash bucket of a car with a suspended driver's license and $3 in his bank account.

    "I'm so fed up with living paycheck to paycheck! Why can't I turn myself successful?"

    You've been a part of those those types of conversations, ain't it so?

    Your very own success story is waiting to be written. All you need is to believe in YOURSELF.
